OUR MISSION
prado is fueled by an ongoing inquiry into making life easier. We build against architectural fragmentation, because a home should never feel disjointed. Our aim: to align all home functionalities into one system, refining until it brings peace.

Life is overwhelming enough in this age of speed. Yes, we want technology in our space. No, we don’t want it on display, crowding our rituals of daily living. So we compose design, architecture and technology as one.
Research and development (Video)
Designing toward the core
Our work is done when light, ventilation, interfaces and more are aligned into one coherent relationship. Free of friction, ready for life. Then research starts again. Somewhere in R&D, the next question is already waiting.
At prado, an experienced research and development team works hand-in-hand with skilled artisans to develop innovative solutions for architects. We focus on function, form and highly durable materials that make the difference. Design meets technology.
Curiosity. Our methodology.
Deliberate decisions are the bones of our design practice. We don’t accept the status quo. Our own included. We stay curious and ask questions freely.
“For most people, lighting is the only thing they want to see hanging on their ceiling, not ventilation, cameras or motion detectors.”

Lighting design
Light defines the rhythm of the room. It arrives first each morning and leaves last each night. Shaping every hour in between. Choose wisely what your rhythm will look like.

prado brings calm to walls, ceilings, spaces. We distill life to its essence, leaving room to reconnect with yourself and those you hold dear.

we design from the inside out
We read spaces without assumptions and treat ideas as working material. Always calling the status quo into question. We remain attentive, refine where it's called for, integrate what proves useful.
systems for living are our instrument
Light, ventilation, interface, material and more are aligned into a well-rounded system for a space that is as intelligent in use as it is coherent in design. Each layer shaped by the next, and all of them by how you live.
we build for a better quality of life
We build for a better everyday and bring design back to its essence. Every element earns its place, serving rituals of waking, working, cooking and resting.
