They boast very easy installation from the front without any need for a removal tool. Plus, they fit in all types of materials and are proudly made in Belgium.
Are the unifit outlets UL or ETL listed?
Our unifit outlet is ETL listed (by Intertek) for both the United States and Canada. Control Number: 5029983. You can find it in the Intertek Directory of Listed Products using ‘Prado America’ in the search field.
Are your unifit outlets tamper-resistant?
Yes, all unifit outlets are tamper-resistant, identified by the “TR” marking on the module face, behind the cover plate. Fun fact: our founder’s initials are “TR,” standing for Thibault Renson. 😉

Thanks to the patented adjustable lugs system, the unifit outlet is the most versatile outlet outlet out there. That’s why our the outlets can be installed in all materials, including drywall, wood, stone, stainless steel, textile, and more.
What device box should I use to install the unifit outlets?
All standard depth nonmetallic and metallic junction boxes are suitable for installing our unifit outlets.
Is a dedicated branch circuit necessary for each unifit outlet?
Absolutely. Each device must be supplied by a unique branch circuit, which includes a separate cable assembly or conductors in a raceway, all originating from outside the box.
How do I install unifit outlets in drywall without a plaster kit?
Our unifit outlets are designed for straightforward installation in finished drywall. Simply drill a hole, connect the wiring (if needed), insert the module by fastening the adjustable lugs (they will hold the outlet in place) and finish with the cover lid. Although achieving a flush finish isn’t possible in this scenario, the outlet will have a surface or small trim finish, with imperfections from drilling concealed by the outlet’s edges.
What are the different installation options?
We offer three installation options for the unifit series: flush, surface, or small trim. Configure yours.
Do I need a removal tool to remove the outlet once it’s installed?
No, no removal tool is required. Simply use your plug and a screw to remove our outlets. See video on this product page.
Can your unifit outlets be installed outdoors and/or in wet rooms?
Yes, our unifit outlets can be installed outdoors and/or in wet rooms if you use a GFI/GFCI breaker in your panel. However, for protection, it’s recommended to place them under a roof or canopy.
What are the branch circuit requirements?
For our wireless (hardwired) outlets, each must have its own branch circuit, with wiring originating outside the device box without splicing or continuation to another device within the box. Our wired (corded) outlets come with a 5 ft cable and a NEMA 5-15 plug and can be plugged into any other outlet.
Do you have a GFI/GFCI outlet?
While we do not offer direct GFCI outlets, a unifit outlet can achieve code compliance when used with a GFCI breaker installed remotely in the panel.

We offer cover plates in white, black, sand, or clay. Our small trim rings are available in brushed brass, brushed steel, brushed gunmetal, or brushed bronze. We provide single, double, and triple trim rings. Configure your outlet here.
